Have you checked out my most recent post? It links to a new troubleshooting section in the Oracle Siebel Reports Guide.

You should also up the log level of the XMLP Server component to get a more detailed error.

Hi Oli,

Thank you for your help of all peoples and i hope that you keep up this work and i try to post in your blog if i ll had a solution.

I try to integrate BIP 10.1.3.4 with Siebel 8.1.1.4 but i have this error:

[1][0] Operation ” of Web Service ‘.’ at port ” failed with the following explanation:
“”.(SBL-EAI-04308)(IDS_EAI_WS_OD_FAULT)
[2] Object manager error:([0] Operation ” of Web Service ‘.’ at port failed with the following explanation: “”.(SBL-EAI-04308)(IDS_WS_OD_FAULT))
[3] Error (null) invoking method “(null)” for Business Service “(null)”

Please could you help me and could you send me your installation guide?

Hi,
Were u able to get around this issue.
Am also facing the same error:
Web service is not loaded to cache [Web Services Cache] or it’s invalidated by others.

This was very helpful as I also faced the same error when
trying to create a new web service object. Had to delete the
existing IO’s and BS’s from 2 inactive repositories. After that the

Hi Oli / Benjamin,

Now am facing a different issue.While configuring Siebel Security model” am getting “The page cannot be displayed, HTTP 500 Internal error”. While cheking the log file, it says ” SBL-EAI-04313 , IDS_EAI_WS_OP_NOT_FOUND ” There is no active Web Service with operation named ‘http://siebel.com/BIP-Siebel/Security:Authenticate'.(SBL-EAI-04313)”

Can you pls help me out.

Siebel version: 8.1.1.3
BI Publisher: 10.1.3.1.0

Hi Oli,
We have couple of repositories (one is “Inactive”). Thought the repository is inactive, while creating the IOs it is trying to refer the inactive repository as well. So, as per the installation steps, we will have to delete the existing IO’s & BS from the inactive Repository as well.It reolved.

Dear Oli,

I am trying to put some conditon in the report template. But am not sure how to do that. Here is what i want to do. I need to take the SUM of a column based on some condition.

I have 2 diff data sets in one report but while doing sum its givinf me the same value for both data sets

Could you please tell me how can that be achieved.

Hi Mani,

As the error message says, the WSDL is trying to reference an Integration Object that doesn’t exist in your Repository / SRF.

You’ll need to follow the instructions for importing the WSDL into Siebel Tools, which will generate the IOs and Business Service. Compile these into your Server SRF and you should be good to go.
