Mother and daughter (wow – can you imagine how crazy it is to say that word?!) are doing amazingly – no complications and all is well.

I’ve started up a Picasa Web Album where you can go to find pictures!

Debbie and I are engaged to be married!

In a stereotypical, romantic scene (I had just finished vacuuming leaves from the patio, Debbie had put out the compost and was working on a spreadsheet in the office), I cunningly asked the question when her guard was down and she said yes! Who’d have thunk?! We’re very excited about it and the ball is rolling: a date is set (October 24th) as is a location for the ceremony (Busbridge Church) and the venue for afterwards (Barnett Hill, near Guildford). Engagement ring shopping this coming weekend will seal the deal, so to speak!

Look out for invitations in the post shortly and please have a drink and a toast to the future, on our behalf!
